본 연구에서는 창의적 문제 해결력과 과학적 소양을 갖춘 창의 인재 양성을 위한 과학교과서의 개발을 위해 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 9종 검정 과학교과서를 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 5학년 1학기 ‘용해와 용액’ 단원에 제시된 생각 열기, 차시별 내용과 탐구활동, 창의융합활동, 읽을거리 등을 중심으로 수행하였다. 교과서는 교육과정에 제시된 성취 기준에 따라서 집필되기 때문에 많은 부분에서 국정교과서와 유사한 내용과 소재들이 사용되고 있었다. 그럼에도 생각 열기와 차시별 탐구활동 및 읽을거리 등에서 기존과는 다른 내용과 소재를 사용하려는 시도가 이루어지고 있었다. 이러한 9종 검정교과서의 비교분석은 창의 인재 양성에 필요한 과학교과서의 내용 및 소재 선택에 많은 시사점을 기여할 것이다.
Abstract
In this study, we compared and analyzed 9 types of approved science textbooks according to the 2015 revised curriculum to develop science textbooks to nurture creative talents with creative problem-solving skills and scientific knowledge. For this purpose, the study focused on opening thoughts, content and exploration activities for each period, creative convergence activities, and reading materials presented in the ‘Dissolution and Solution’ unit of the first semester of the 5th grade. Because textbooks are written according to the achievement standards presented in the curriculum, the same content and materials as the national textbooks are used in many areas. Nevertheless, attempts were made consistently to use content and materials different from existing ones in terms of thought opening, hourly exploration activities, and reading material. The comparative analysis of these 9 types of certified textbooks will contribute many implications to the selection of content and materials of science textbooks necessary for nurturing creative talent in the future.
