초록

본 연구에서는 죽음준비교육이 사회복지전공 대학생의 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식, 죽음태도 및 삶의 의미에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위하여 비동일 통제집단 전후비교조사를 실시하였다. 연구대상자는 D시에 소재한 대학의 사회복지학과에 재학 중인 대학생 60명(실험군 30명, 대조군 30명)을 대상으로 실험군과 대조군으로 나누어 실험군에 총 8회기(주 2회, 각각 120분)에 걸쳐 죽음준비교육을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 사전-사후-추후 검증을 위해서 독립표본 t검증, ANCOVA, 대응표본 t검증으로 실시하였다. 연구결과 죽음준비교육은 사회복지전공 대학생의 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식을 긍정적으로 높이는 효과가 있었고, 죽음태도 및 삶의 의미 변화에 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지전공 대학생의 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식, 죽음태도 및 삶의 의미에 대한 올바른 인식 함양을 돕기 위한 교육의 운영과 활용기반에 필요한 사회복지적 제언을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to investigated the effects of Death Preparation Education(DPE) on the perception of good death, death attitude and meaning of life of university students majoring in social welfare. The participants were 60 students (experimental group:30,control group:30) attending at university in D city and DPE was consisted of 8 sessions (twice a week, 120 minutes each). Data were collected before, after program and 10 weeks follow up. And data were analyzed using independent samples t-test, ANCOVA, and paired samples t-test. The results showed that DPE was effective on raising the perception of good death and had a significant effect on death attitude and meaning of life. Based on the results, we suggested the implications for the operation and application of social welfare education to help university students of majoring in social welfare to raise awareness of well-dying, death attitude and meaning of life.
