초록
The aim of the current study was to examine the improvement efficacies of Hemiptelea davidii methanol extract (HDME) on skin physiological activities. The results for total polyphenolics and flavonoids in HDME were 292.8 TAE mg/g and 212.6 RE mg/g, respectively. The electron-donating ability of HDME at a concentration of 1,000 μg/mL was 86.6% and the results of calculation showed that the SC50 value of the free radical was 274.7 μg/mL. Inhibition of collagenase, elastase, and mushroom tyrosinase activity by HDME at 1,000 μg/mL was 71.6%, 65.3%, and 59.6%, respectively. According to the results of calculation, the IC50 values were 358.0 μg/mL, 478.7 μg/mL, and 422.7 μg/mL for collagenase, elastase, and mushroom tyrosinase activities, respectively. The IC50 values were 360.3 μg/mL, over 1,000 μg/mL, and 240.7 μg/mL for positive control ascorbic acid or arbutin for collagenase, elastase, and mushroom tyrosinase activities, respectively.
