언해본 『삼강행실도』 ≪충신도≫의 동국정운식 한자음에 대한 고찰―정본 수립을 목적으로 한 한자음 교정을 중심으로―

본고에서는 언해본 『삼강행실도』 ≪충신도≫의 定本을 수립하기 위한 작업의 일환으로서, ≪충신도≫에 있는 한자음 注音의 모든 양상을 살펴보고 오류로 판단되는 것을 교정하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 언해본 『삼강행실도』는 한자음을 注音함에 있어 동국정운식 한자음으로 注音하였음을 확인할 수 있는바, 본고에서는 동국정운식 한자음을 기준으로 오류를 교정해 보았다. 이와 관련하여, ≪충신도≫에 있는 한자 중에는 『東國正韻』에 수록되지 않은 한자가 있는데, 이와 같은 한자의 한자음은 어떻게 교정할 것인지, 그리고 『東國正韻』에 수록되어 있는 한자라 하더라도 『東國正韻』에서 복수의 음을 제시하고 있는 한자가 있는데, 이와 같은 한자의 한자음은 어떻게 교정할 것인지 등과 같은 문제에 대해, 본고 나름의 교정 방법을 마련할 필요가 있을 것이다. 이와 같은 내용을 2장에서 다루었다. 2장에서 세운 한자음 교정의 방법을 바탕으로, 3장에서는 한자음을 교정해 보았다. 한자음을 교정할 때는 注音 오류를 ‘聲母’, ‘韻母’, ‘聲調’ 차원에서 분류하여 교정하였으며, 교정의 결과는 각 표의 『東國正韻』 열(소괄호가 있는 경우 소괄호 밖에 있는 것)에 제시하였다. 본고가 언해본 『삼강행실도』 ≪충신도≫의 한자음 양상을 파악하는 데 조금이나마 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.
Abstract
This study aims to examine all aspects of the phonetic annotations for Chinese characters in the “Chungsindo” section of SamGangHaengSilDo Translated in Middle Korean and to correct those deemed erroneous, as part of the work to establish a standard edition of “Chungsindo”. The SamGangHaengSilDo Translated in Middle Korean uses phonetic annotations for Chinese characters based on the DongGukJeongUn-style Sino-Korean. Accordingly, this study corrected errors using DongGukJeongUn-style Sino-Korean as the standard. In this context, certain Chinese characters in the “Chungsindo” section are not included in DongGukJeongUn, raising the issue of how to correct the Sino-Korean of such characters. Additionally, even for characters included in DongGukJeongUn, questions arise regarding how to handle cases where multiple Sino-Korean pronunciations are provided. This study seeks to establish its own correction methodology for these issues, which is discussed in detail in Chapter 2. Based on the methodology for correcting Sino-Korean established in Chapter 2, Chapter 3 applies these corrections. When correcting Sino-Korean, errors in phonetic annotations were classified and corrected at the levels of shengmu(initial consonants), yunmu(rhymes), and shengdiao(tones). The results of the corrections are presented in the DongGukJeongUn column of each table. In cases where parentheses are present, the corrected Sino-Korean is shown outside the parentheses. I hope this study can contribute, even in a small way, to understanding the phonetic annotations of Chinese characters in the “Chungsindo” section of SamGangHaengSilDo Translated in Middle Korean.
