Abstract
Our research deals with the ideas of montage, conceived by French film director Jean-Luc Godard after May 68 in order to reveal the process of a thought in image and the image of thought itself. Godard’s new form of montage “ET(And)”, “Entre(Between)” stands for an invisible link between heterogeneous things, impling the reflection of creative time. It is updated on the mere surface of the images by being put in continuous interaction in order to create another idea within the process of montage. In this perspective the ‘fiction’ in Godard’s cinema does not mean anything else but the actualisation of the vital strength between the images, realised through this “ET(And)” or “Entre(Between)”. Finally this method or process of montage charateries the inherent movement of any creative thinking.
