학교 교육을 위한 기업의 교육기부 참여에 대한 교사의 인식 조사 연구

Abstract

Schools, where younger generations learn skills for their future, students confront some difficult challenges. One of most serious challenges facing youth in schools today is how to improve student creativity, which can be addressed effectively through partnerships with other sectors. To achieve its purpose, this survey was conducted through the following processes. First, the researchers reviewed related articles and documents. Second, the researchers organized a questionnaire for elementary school teachers. The questionnaire includes several subjects with varying scope. The scope of these questions inclued teachers' perceptions about using social resources for school, teachers' perceptions about their daily challenges as school teachers (i.e., obstacles to teaching), teachers' perceptions about the partnership with corporations and so on. Third, the questionnaires completed by 469 teachers were analyzed through frequency analysis by SPSS program. The key results of this survey are as follows. From this survey on teachers' perception, we can confirm some important facts. First, school teachers are willing to use social resources in order to providing various opportunities to students. Using social resources they expect, also, that students will foster some important competencies, such as career competency and citizenship. Second, most teachers also agree that making partnerships with corporations is beneficial and almost half of the respondents answered they already have participated in some form of educational program initiated by a corporation. Third, teachers also have some concern regarding making partnerships with corporations. Most of them worried that corporations would like to do not only educational contribution but also use it for their own advertisement. Furthermore, teachers think it is important that corporations should seriously consider the school's education, student level, and curriculum before they participate.
