Abstract

This article aims correctly to position the philosophical counseling recently entered in counseling psychology and eastern philosophy oriented the counseling of destiny, as a branch of psychic counseling. For the purpose of it, typology of counseling systems are suggested with the help of integral psychology. The philosophical counseling appeared in reinterpreting the authentic philosophical themes as practicality of philosophy for a modern look. The counseling of destiny means organizing concepts, that is to say, various arts of Changes based on Yin-Yang theory, occult arts having theirs origin in west, and diverse explanations having the doctrine of deity and spirituality. The philosophical counseling does not need to have the antagonistic connection with counseling psychology camps. Instead, the philosophical counseling have to find the especial scopes of counseling through the authentic practice of philosophy in unique levels of counseling, which reflects the social and cultural conditions of human beings, inquires the epistemological problems originated from cosmology to the minutest details, and pursues the origin of meanings through ontology. The counseling of destiny have used to be contrary to scientific world-view, upon which the counseling psychology relies. However, the understandings of the upper order beyond the human's as the necessary order of nature and Providence offer the horizons comprehending the human nature. In this sense, it may be to pay academic attention to positive aspects of the counseling of destiny.
