만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 문법 대조 - 격 표지와 어미를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 격 표지와 어미를 대조하여 두 언어의 공통점과 차이점을 밝히는것을 목적으로 한다. 여러 연구에서 만주어 문어와 시버어의 대조가 시도되었으나 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 대조는 시도된 바가 없는 것으로 보인다. 그러나 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 대조는 두 언어의 관계를밝히는 데 있어서 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 시버족이 1764년에 현재 중국 서부에 있는 신장 위구르 자치구 지역으로 이주하여 이후 두 언어 간의 접촉이 어려웠기 때문이다. 따라서 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어에서 공통점이 발견된다면 그 공통점은 1764년 이전부터 존재하였을 가능성이 높다. 격 표지의 경우, 만주어 문어와 시버어 구어의 격 표지의 유사성보다 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 격 표지의 유사성이 더 크다. 특히 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 탈격 표지는 만주어 문어의 탈격 표지와 큰 차이를보이고, 공동격 표지는 만주어 문어에는 없고, 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어에만 있다. 어미의 경우, 만주어 구어와 시버어 구어의 동사 어미들은 종결 어미, 분사 어미, 부동사 어미 등 3범주로분류되며 만주어 문어와 크게 다르지 않다. 다만 각 어미에 따라서 세부적인 차이를 보이기도 한다. 만주어구어에서는 영형태 어미가 명령문뿐만 아니라 의지를 나타내는 문장에도 쓰일 수 있다. 그리고 만주어 구어의부동사 어미는 극도로 단순화되어서 -me/-m이 동시 관계 접속문뿐만 아니라 계기 관계 접속문에서도 출현하게 되었다. 시버어 구어의 경우 만주어 문어와 만주어 구어에는 존재하지 않는 분사 어미 -maɣə/-mak와 부동사 어미 -maχ의 존재가 특징이라고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify commonalities and differences between the two languages by contrastive analysis of case markers and verb endings of Spoken Manchu and Spoken Sibe. In case of case marker, there is more similarity between case marker of Spoken Manchu and Spoken Sibe than case marker of Written Manchu and Spoken Sibe. In particular, the ablative markers of Spoken Manchu and Spoken Sibe are significantly different from those of Written Manchu. And the comitaitve marker does not exist in Written Manchu, but only in Spoken Manchu and Spoken Sibe. In the case of verb ending, the ending system of Spoken Manchu and Spoken Sibe consists of sentence-final ending, participle ending, and converbal ending. This is not much different from Written Manchu. However, there is a difference in detail depending on each ending. In Spoken Manchu, zero form ending can be used not only for imperative sentences but also for sentences that indicate will. And the converbal ending of Spoken Manchu is extremely simplified, so -me/-m has a variety of functions. Spoken Sibe is characterized by having participle ending -maɣə/-mak and converbal ending -maχ which do not exist in Written Manchu and Spoken Manchu.
