Abstract
This paper examined what the meaning of the auxiliary verb “nu” “tsu” realized by connecting to the negative expression in “Sandaisyu” established in the era used as a colloquialism . “Nu” represents the speaker’s “natural transitive perception” and “tsu” represents “not natural transit recognition”. “Naturally transitive recognition” was used in cases where it is inevitably considered fateful about the situation realized by the speaker, not “I did not think that anyone would want to do so” It means that the situation has come true without the speaker trying to do so. On the other hand, “tsu” represents a speaker’s “non-natural transitive perception”, and I think that it was an expression used when a situation not realized was realized. In expressing the denial, the auxiliary verbs “nu” and “tsu” use routine usage. “Nu” takes on the form of “zunarinu” and “tsu” takes the form of “zaritsu”. “zunarinu” also represents the natural transitive perception of the speaker about the realization of the situation in a negative direction. Although it sometimes indicates that the situation will be realized in the direction opposite to speaker’s intention, I will not regard the situation as an unexpected thing・sudden thing, even if it is anti-intentional. “Tsu” connects to “zari”. “Tsu” connected to “zaru” represents the speaker’s “not natural transitive” perception of the negative state. It was used when expressing the situation as an unexpected thing. The adverb “e” that makes impossible expressions was used for both “nu” and “tsu”, but “kanu” is found only in the example connected to “tsu”. In this case as well, we could understand that to explain logically with the difference in the recognition attitude of the speaker.
