百年来中国中小学语言教育的发展及特点

Abstract

Under the impetus of the Chinese language modernization movement, significant changes have been noted in the Chinese language in modern times. In particular, the written Chinese language has evolved from classical Chinese and vernacular Chinese, to the modern standard Chinese. The language carrier of Chinese courses has also undergone corresponding changes, thus leading to changes in the content and methods of language education. The current Chinese educational system or its syllabus marks the epitome of these changes. Therefore, based on the background of the Chinese modernization movement, this paper will analyze the development process and characteristics of language education, from the perspective of the evolution of Chinese learning systems or syllabus during the past century.
