대학에서 좋은 수업에 관한 학습자 인식 사례 연구

본 연구에서는 좋은 수업에 대한 학습자들의 인식을 살펴봄으로써 대학 교육현장에서 학습자 측면에서 효과성이 높은 교육방법 및 전략 등을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이에충청북도 지역 A대학의 재학생 214명을 대상으로 좋은 수업에 대한 인식과 구체적인 내용을 작성한 에세이를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자들은 풍부한 학습자료를 사용하고 학습내용이 체계적으로 구성되어 있는 수업을 좋은 수업이라고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 학습자들은 교수와 학습자 간의 상호작용을 많이 하는 수업에 대해긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석 되었다. 즉, 수업에서 공감 형성, 적극적인 피드백, 의견 존중 등 교수자와 학습자의 상호관계가 긍정적으로 형성되었을 때 학습자는 좋은 수업이라고 인식하였다. 셋째, 좋은 수업에 대한 특징은 전달력이 우수하고, 수업결과가 긍정적이어야 좋은 수업으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전달력의 경우, 교수자가 가지고 있는 특성이 가장 많은 영향을 주는 요인이다. 즉, 교수자가 수업내용을 학습자들이 알기 쉽게 설명해 주는 것과 학습내용의 이해도를 높이기 위해 다양한 사례 제시, 적절한 예시 사용 등을 통해 학습내용의 명확한 전달에 기반 한 수업을 좋은 수업이라고 인식하였다. 수업결과 측면은 수업이 종료된 직후, 수업에 대한 반응과 만족도와 연관성이 높다고 볼 수 있다. 이는 교수자가 제시한 학습목표를 달성하고 성취하였을 때, 계속적으로 학습을 하고 싶은 의지와 동기가 유지 되어 좋은 수업이라고 인식하였다. 넷째, 대학생들이 인식하는 좋은 수업의 구성 중 수업 환경은 교수자가 수업시간에 교수매체를 활용하는 등 교수방법에 맞는 환경을 조성하는 수업을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the learner 's perception of good teaching, and to explore the teaching methods and strategies that are effective in the learner' s side in the university education field. In this study, 214 students in A University in Chungcheongbuk-do analyzed their essays about the recognition of good teaching and concrete contents. The results of the study are as follows. First, learners perceived that teaching using various teaching methods and teaching using rich materials were the best ones. Second, the learner was positively aware of the lessons that interact with the professor. in other words, it was recognized that good teaching was provided when the mutual relationship with the professors such as sympathy, sharing, positive feedback, and respecting opinions were positively formed in the class. Third, the learner recognized positively the lecture with the good ability of the professor. The professor recognized the lesson to be easy to explain the contents of the lesson and to present the contents clearly through various examples. Fourth, the learner recognized that after the class ended, the response to the lesson and satisfaction should be high. This is because motivation to continue learning is maintained when the goal of the professor is achieved. Lastly, among the composition of the good class that college students perceive, the class environment positively recognized the class which creates the environment suitable for the teaching method such as the professor using the teaching medium in the class time.
