본 연구의 목적은 학습공동체를 통한 유아 평가의 실행과정에서 교사가 어떠한 경험을 하는지 살펴보고 나아가 교사가 바라보는 학습공동체의 기능과 의미에 대해 탐색하는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 A유치원에 소속된 현직교사 12명을 대상으로 7개월 동안 실행연구가 이루어졌다. 그 결과, 교사 학습공동체를 통하여 유아 평가에 대해 다시 생각해 보는 새로운 도전을 경험하면서 유아 평가에 대한 자신감을 갖게 되었고 움직이는 배움의 역동체에서 교사 간의 배려와 협력의 중요성을 느끼게 되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 지식기반사회에서 전문성 신장을 위한 현장교사교육의 새로운 대안이 될 수 있는 교사 학습공동체의 의미와 그 역할에 대해 시사하였다.
Abstract
This study aims at examining what teachers experience while implementing children assessment through teacher learning community, and furthermore, at investigating the functions and meanings of a learning community from a teacher’s viewpoint. For this study, action research was conducted on 12 incumbent teachers belonging to A kindergarten for 7 months. Results showed that the teachers came to have self-confidence over children assessment while experiencing the new challenge of thinking again about assessment of children through the teacher learning community, and also they realized the importance of consideration and cooperation among teachers in the moving dynamic body of learning. The results of this study have the implications of the meanings and roles of a teacher learning community as an alternative for the teachers’ field training for the improvement of expertise in the knowledge-based society.
