최근, 이해중심 교육과정에 대한 연구의 증가와 이를 기반으로 한 학교 현장 적용이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 교육과정을 실행하는 교사의 관점에서 이해중심 교육과정에 대한 교사들의 인식, 현황, 문제점 등을 구체적으로 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 6명의 참여자를 대상으로 심층 면담 방법을 활용하였으며 워드 프로세서와 Nvivo 9.0 프로그램을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과, 6가지의 주요 내용을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 이해중심 교육과정 설계의 필요성과 도입에 대한 공감. 둘째, 현재 학교의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있음. 셋째, 2015 개정 교육과정 운영 시 이해중심 교육과정 설계의 적용 가능성이 충분함. 넷째, 교육과정 디자이너로서 교사 전문성을 발휘할 수 있음. 다섯째, 통합교육과정, 창의적 체험활동에의 적용 가능함. 여섯째, 교사 연수의 확대가 필요하다는 것이다. 이러한 연구 결과를 반영하여 이해중심 교육과정을 실행하는 교사에게 필요한 지원을 제공한다면 학생들의 진정한 이해를 실현하는 교실 수업이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
Teachers and curriculum experts in the school field recognize that students' complete understanding should be at the center of the curriculum. In order to achieve students' complete learning objectives through an understanding-based curriculum, the necessity of exploring the experiences and perceptions of the teachers who are the subjects of the curriculum is raised. Therefore, this study conducted an in-depth interview with the design of the curriculum with a focus on six teachers. The teachers who participated in this study talked about their experiences in the understanding-oriented curriculum. Changes in the new curriculum flow are essential to understanding the teacher. Through this study, the necessary points for successful settlement of an understanding-oriented curriculum were identified. We also tried to present the basic data for designing a better understanding-oriented curriculum.
