한국 문학 및 한국 문화 교수 학습 방법 연구 - 해외 한국어 관련 학과의 수업 사례를 중심으로 -

Abstract

In this paper, I would like to propose a plan to enhance and revitalize the effectiveness of Korean literature education through a series of teaching experiences in foreign Korean language-related departments through two examples. The background of the proposal is that the desire to learn Korean literature has recently changed significantly to learners at foreign universities, and the utility-based perception of the global competitiveness of Korean cultural contents is at the base of that desire. The ultimate goal of learners who express their desire to learn Korean literature is to develop the ability necessary to establish a career path in a field related to cultural content. Therefore, it was considered important to establish a teaching-learning direction that met its purpose. In this paper, the teaching and learning direction of Korean literature that meets the learning purpose of cultivating content acceptance and production ability as a career ability must be based on an understanding of basic principles and an independent interpretation, and in the learning process that induces them, it was decided that providing information and access points step by step under the precise design of the instructor was the most important activity. Based on this judgment, I presented core activities by taking the classes of <Sonagi> and <A Woodcutter and the Fairy> as examples. In the case of <Sonagi>, the fruit exchanged between the main character, a girl and a boy, is interpreted as a symbol that leads to a plot event, and it is possible to understand it extensively as a living culture called marriage culture, and in the case of “The Woodcutter and the Fairy”, the direction of promoting an in-depth understanding of social culture was set through the element of ‘wager’. It is judged that learners ultimately have the expectation that they will be able to conceive new storytelling contents based on this expansive and in-depth understanding.
