포가티(Fogarty) 모형을 적용한 초등학교 5학년 음악과 기악중심 통합 프로그램 개발

본 연구의 목적은 포가티의 모형을 적용하여 초등학교 5학년 음악성의 발달을 위해 음악 연주 기능과 표현능력, 음악적 흥미를 증진시킬 수 있는 기악 중심 통합교육 프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다. 문헌고찰 및 선행연구 분석으로 선정된 포가티의 유형을 적용한 통합교육 프로그램 모형을 설계한 뒤, 4개의 기악활동 프로그램의 단계별 목표를 설정하고 수업 내용을 선정한 후 예시 지도안을 개발하였다. 프로그램 개발 결과 음악과의 통합 필요성을 확인하고 기악 영역에서의 통합 가능성을 발견하였으며 포가티의 유형은 음악과 학습 주제에 따라 다양한 통합 프로그램 구성에 적용이 가능하였다. 초등학교 5학년 음악 활동 영역과 타교과의 교육과정 분석결과 음악과 수업과 연관되거나 활용될 수 있는 제재들을 선정하여 타교과 내용이 포함된 프로그램이 완성되었으며 개발된 기악 중심 통합 프로그램은 리듬학습, 가락학습, 아티큘레이션의 발달, 창의적인 음악적 표현력의 향상 단계까지 점차적으로 자발적 동기를 확장시키는 4단계 프로그램으로 구성되어 있다.
Abstract
The study aims to develop an instrumental music integrated program to improve abilities of playing music and expression, and musical interests for the elementary school 5th graders' musicality development, based on Fogarty's model. Through the review of literature and the analysis of previous studies, the researchers suggested the necessity and direction of instrumental music integrated program, examined integrated curriculum types developed by different scholars, and selected integrated types . The researchers designed an integrated program model to which is applied by the selected Fogarty's integrated types for the study. The researchers set an objective by each phase of the total 4 programs to select integrated education programs. The researchers devised exemplary teaching plans and produced matters that require attentions. The development of the instrumental music integrated program based on Fogarty's model are as follows. First, the review of theories and curriculum on the integrated education enabled us to identify the necessity of being integrated with music, specifically, the possibility of music instrument. Second, Fogarty's model can be combined variously according to learning theme of the music subject; hence, these types can be used for the instrumental music integrated program. Third, the researchers analyzed curriculum of music and other subjects (e.g. morality, Korean, math, social study, science, P.E., etc.) of the fifth grade in elementary school to identify materials to be related to, or used for, music. The researchers completed the program of four stages which music activity fields are integrated to and which contains contents of other subjects, based on the content analysis of the 2007's revised education curriculum.
