본 연구는 2015 교육과정 개정을 위한 제1 차 국가교육과정 전문가 포럼에서 제기된 통합교과의 교육과정과 교과서 체제에 대한 문제점의 당위성을 살펴보고 차기 교육과정 개편에서 고려해야 할 통합교과 교육과정과 교과서의 개선점을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 제기된 문제점은 1)교육과정과 교과서 분리 및 평가와 학생부 작성의 불일치, 2)교육과정 재구성의 자율성의 훼손, 3)교과서의 크기와 두께, 교과서 내용의 양적 증가, 4)학습이론의 적용의 부적절성, 5)통합 방법의 부적절성, 6)2009개정 통합교과 교육과정과 누리과정과의 연계성 부족, 7)계열성, 주제선정, KDB 적용의 문제 등이었다. 제기된 문제점을 문헌, 선행연구, 현장 적용 실태를 중심으로 재해석하였다. 논의를 바탕으로 차기 통합교과 교육과정 개정에서 고려할 수 있는 개선안으로 1)움직임과 관련된 통합적인 활동 추가, 2)주제의 세분화, 3)내용체계의 세분화, 4)사고기능 교육의 강화를 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reveal the appropriateness of the posed questions at the first national curriculum expert forum for 2015 national curriculum revision. Furthermore, improvement points of the national elementary integrated subjects for the next curriculum revision are discussed. The posed questions were; 1)discordance of evaluation and student report file of the integrated subjects, 2)desecration of teacher’s autonomy of curriculum reformation, 3)increase of size of textbook and quantity of content, 4)inadequacy of learning theories, 5)imperfection of curriculum integration methods, 6)insufficiency of connectivity between the integrated subjects and Nuri curriculum, 7) problems of sequences of instructional objectives, selection of themes, and application of KDB. Based on the posed questions, reinterpretation is attempted. Additional proposed points such as more integrated activities that include physical movement, departmentalization of themes and content systematization, and training of thinking skills are suggested.
