이 연구는 백워드 설계 모형을 활용하여 간학문적 통합 단원을 설계하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 백워드 설계 모형에 기반한 간학문적 UbD 모형을 구안하였다. 이 연구에서 구안한 간학문적 UbD 모형의 절차는 (1) 교육과정 문서 읽기, (2) 통합 단원명 설정, (3) 이해의 측면 설정, (4) 본질적 질문 개발, (5) 간학문적 지식 및 핵심 지식 선정, (6) 간학문적 기능 및 핵심 기능 선정, (7) 수행과제 및 루브릭 개발, (8) 기타 증거 자료 수집 계획, (9) 학습 경험 및 수업 설계의 순 이었다. 2015 개정 초등학교 5-6학년군 교육과정을 분석한 결과, 국어, 사회, 도덕, 실과, 체육의 5개 교과에서 ‘공감’이라는 공통 요소가 발견되었다. 이 연구에서는 ‘공감’에 기초하여 21차시 분량으로 ‘더불어 사는 세상’이라는 간학문적 통합 단원을 설계하였다. 이 연구가 학교 현장에서 간학문적 통합 단원을 설계하는 데 유용한 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop interdisciplinary integrated unit based on backward design. This study was to explore the possibilities for the development of interdisciplinary integrated units by applying backward design. And this study was to develop a nine - step interdisciplinary UbD model based on backward design model. The step of interdisciplinary UbD model was as follows: (1) reading the curriculum document, (2) setting the interdisciplinary unit name, (3) setting the side of understanding, (4) developing essential questions, (5) selecting interdisciplinary knowledge and core knowledge (6) selecting interdisciplinary skill and core skill (7) developing performance assesment tasks and rubric, (8) planning other evidence data collection, and (9) learning experiences and instructional design. In this study, researcher discovered a common element of 'empathy' in five subjects of Korean language, social, moral, practical art, and physical education. In this study, we developed an interdisciplinary unit called 'The World of Living Together'. This study is expected to be used as a guideline for developing interdisciplinary unit.
