For this, the situations and cases which can happen in real wars ought to be offered to leaders who have to solve. After that, the processes of discussion and post-review on each solutions led by commanders or instructors should be followed. During these processes of dealing with various situations and solving different cases, leaders can improve their creativity. In these processes, the examples derived from the real historical battles will be very useful. Especially, we can shape good examples from the cases of the Korean War and use them for more effective learning of Korean military leaders. The procedures of constructing the cases from real war histories are as follows; first, to select relevant cases for learning purposes; second, to put some important points for leaders to take measures against with their creativity into the cases chosen and reviewed in detail; and finally, to impose the cases upon the leaders in the form of situations and questions constructed. We can far better improve tactical operational abilities of leaders, if the case studies on real wars, as a means of teaching materials, are added to the previous method of just reading the stories on victories in wars. Furthermore, more scientific methods need to be applied to the studies on war history.
