본 연구는 발달장애아동의 인지적·분석적 능력의 발달과 효율적인 학습을 위한 모방능력 관련 프로그램 필요성의 인식하에, 이를 위한 무용교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이에 문헌고찰과 장애인 대상 무용교육 지도자 4인과의 전문가 회의를 통해 프로그램 모형을 구성하였고, H특수학교 발달장애아동 4인을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 프로그램을 적용하였다. 그 후 총 6인의 교육훈련전문가 집단 회의 및 타당도 검증을 진행하였고, 수정 및 보완을 거쳐 최종적인 발달장애아동의 모방능력을 위한 무용교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 총 20회기로, 라포형성, 신체인식, 모방형성, 협력적 모방, 독립적 모방 5가지의 영역으로 구성되며, 프로그램의 회기별 구조는 도입, 전개, 마무리의 구조를 지닌다. 또한 프로그램의 매 회기별 프로그램의 교수·학습 전략으로 ‘올바른 시범’, ‘집중·관찰 유도’, ‘효과적 보상’의 세 가지 요인을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 발달장애아동의 모방능력을 위한 무용교육의 방향과 내용이 객관적이고 체계적인 모습을 갖추게 되는 데에 단초가 되었다고 볼 수 있다. 향후 발달장애아동의 모방능력과 관련하여 지속적인 연구가 이루어진다면, 그들이 겪는 어려움을 해소하고 학습 및 일상생활에 필요한 적응행동을 습득하는 데에 바람직한 영향을 미칠 것이다. 그리고 향후 특수무용교육의 학술적·실천적 발전에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대하는 바이다.
Abstract
This study developed a dance education program to enhance the cognitive and analytical skill and the imitation ability of children with a developmental disorder. To this end, a model was designed based on a literature review and interviews with four dance teachers with expertise in people with disabilities. Next, four children with developmental disorder, who were enrolled in the H special school, were selected as research participants and their participation in the developed program analyzed. Subsequently, a group meeting was arranged with six education and training experts to revise the program and supplementation processes for validity. The final program consists of 20 sessions with the following five categories: formation of rapport, recognition of the body, formation of imitation, collaborative imitation, and an independent imitation. The structure of each session was based on introduction, progress, and finish. Moreover, the developed program presented three factors of “correct demonstration,” “encouragement of concentration and observation,” and “effective compensation” as teaching and learning strategies for each session. This study would serve as a foundation for the objective and systematical direction and content of dance education for the imitation ability of children with developmental disorder. If researchers perform further research on these children’s imitation ability, the results will have the desired effect of helping them to overcome the difficulties they encounter and to develop the learning ability and the necessary adaptative behaviours required for daily life. It is also expected that these research results, including the findings of this study, will have a positive influence on the academic and practical development of special dance education.
