본 논문은 연극텍스트의 텍스트연극성을 중심으로 텍스트가 공연의 연극성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 밝히는 것을 주된 목적으로 삼았다. 연극공연을 위해 쓰여진 연극텍스트의 중요 특징은 등장인물 간의 대화체계 붕괴와 서사구조의 불분명함이다. 이러한 특징은 독특한 글쓰기 형식, 즉 탈기의화된 언어형식으로 인한 자기지시성을 가지는 텍스트연극성을 야기하고 있다는 점과 궁극에 포스트드라마 연극의 비재현성을 강화에 기여하고 있다는 점을 고찰하였다. 연극텍스트의 형식과 텍스트연극성은 포스트드라마 연극 공연화 과정에서도 중요한 역할을 행사하고 있다는 점도 확인할 수 있었다. 포스트드라마 연극텍스는 텍스트의 재현이 아니라 텍스트와 공연 간의 상호작용과 공동 작업에서 의미를 갖는 것이다. 이상과 같은 이론적 고찰을 보다 구체적으로 이해하기 위해 본 논문은 엘프리데 옐리네크(Elfreide Jelinek)의 연극텍스트 <레히니츠(절멸의 천사) Rechnitz(der Würgeengel)>를 분석하였다. 이 작품은 현대 사회의 매체 기능과 그 역할에 대한 본질적인 질문을 제기하고 있다. 이러한 질문은 포스트드라마적으로 재기능화된 사자와 그들의 비재현적 보고형식으로 형상화된다. 결과적으로 비재현적인 연극텍스트의 텍스트연극성은 공연에서 재현될 수 없는 것을 역설적으로 체험할 수 있게 하는 현존성(감)을 강화한다는 점을 확인하면서 텍스트연극성과 공연의 연극성 관계를 고찰하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to discover how the text affects the theatricality of the play, focusing on the theatricality of the text of the play text. An important characteristic of theatrical texts is the collapse of the dialogue system between the characters and the ambiguity of the narrative structure. It was eventually found that these characteristics reinforce the unreproducibility of post－drama plays. It was also confirmed that the form of theatrical text and the theatricality of text plays an important role in the process of making post－drama theatrical performances. Post－drama theater texts have meaning not in the reproduction of texts, but in the interaction and collaboration between texts and performances. In order to understand the theoretical considerations more concretely, this paper analyzed Elfreide Jelinek's play text Rechnitz(der Würgeengel). This work raises essential questions regarding the function and role of media in modern society. These questions are embodied in the post－dramatically re－functionalized Envoy and their non－representative reporting format. As a result, it was confirmed that the non－representative text theatricality reinforces the presence (feeling) that allows us to experience something that cannot be reproduced in the performance.
