가난한 여성들을 위한 목회적 돌봄에 대한 연구 - 막 12:41-44절에 나타난 과부의 이야기 -

초록

이글은 막 12:41-44절에 나타난 ‘두 렙돈을 드린 과부’의 이야기를 통해 가난한 여성들이 경험하게 되는 심리적, 사회 문화 구조적 문제를 살펴보면서 오늘날 한국 교회가 가난한 여성들을 효과적으로 돌보기 위해서 필요한 목회적 돌봄을 제안하였다. 포스트모더니즘의 등장으로 내담자의 문제를 효과적으로 돕기 위해서는 내담자들이 자신들이 경험하는 세상을 어떻게 해석하고 인식하는 가에 대한 관심 또한 사회과학적 인식론만큼 필요하게 되었다. 그래서 내담자들을 효과적으로 돌보기 위해서 심리내적인 탐구뿐만 아니라 가난과 같은 사회 문화적인 탐구가 중요한 주제가운데 하나가 되었다. 가난은 우선적으로 정신건강과 밀접하게 연결되어 있다. 실제로 가난으로 인해 정신장애와 행동장애가 증가하였다. 또한, 여성들은 여러 가지 사회 구조적 문제로 직업의 불평등을 경험하고 남자보다 더 가난하다. 마가복음 12장 41~44절에 나타난 ‘두 렙돈을 드린 과부’의 내러티브는 성서가 증언하는 초기 기독교 시대의 가난한 여성이 경험하는 심리적인 상태를 잘 보여주고 있다. 그래서 이 논문은 마가복음 12장 41~44절의 내러티브 속에 나타난 가난이라는 것 그리고 과부라는 사실이 주고 있는 심리적 영향과 그 당시 가난한 여성 과부를 향한 사회적 문화적 특성을 탐구하면서 효과적인 목회적 돌봄이 어떻게 이 본문에서 작동하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 예수님이 그 당시 공동체 안에서 유효하던 가치체계를 해체하면서 두 렙돈의 과부의 수치심을 만지시고 이해하신 것처럼 이 논문은 한국 교회가 가난한 여성들을 효과적으로 돌보기 위해서 그들의 상황을 공감하고 있는 그대로 지지하며 가난에 대한 사회문화적인 가치의 해체를 위해 목소리를 낼 것을 제안하고 있다.

Abstract

Under the influence of Post-modernism, it is necessary to look at the context of the client as well as social epistemology. In other words, pastoral counselors should know how their clients experience and interpret the world around themselves, give meaning to their life events and how social and cultural structure influence them. The problems of clients are related to social structure which is an ongoing process in which the meaning of their life is constructed. Poverty is one of the important topics that each clients authors their own meaning to make sense of their perceived reality. Many Scholars insist that poverty and mental health problems are correlated to each other. According to WHO, poverty increased incidents of mental and behavioral disorder. In fact, 41% poor women in U.S. reports that they are depressed. Even though women's earnings have been increasing, they are still experiencing job segregation by gender. This poverty has negative consequences for mental health. The narrative of a poor widow in Mark 12:41-44 shows psychological status of poor women and social and cultural structure of poverty at that time. The purpose of this study is to provide effective pastoral care of the poor women through examining the narrative of poor widow in Mark 12:41-44.
