Abstract
Because the lowest income changes did not only affect to the number of labor, this study used input-output tables of Bank of Korea from 2005 to 2013 to show direct and indirect effects along with changes of labor, consumption, and output by lowest income changes in metropolitan areas and provinces of Korea. According to the results, total number of labor was shown to be decreased by the lowest income changes. Also, the labor changes were expanded to have both direct impact by own industry and indirect impact by other related industries. In addition, total output of metropolitan areas were increased due to increase of consumption, however, the change of the total output in provinces showed opposite trend against metropolitan areas. Therefore, this study suggested implications of the increase of income through presenting direct and indirect effects of industries, the extent of change in labor, consumption, total output in the regional level.
