초록

본 연구는 기후위기 시대 여성농민운동이 어떻게 유기농, 로컬푸드, 농생태학과 같은 대안농업운동으로 생태적 전환을 시도하는 가운데 흙, 땅, 종자, 작물 등 다종 간 관 계성을 변화시키고 새로운 생태 정치를 전개하는지 밝히고자 한다. 특히 여성농민운동 이 대안농업을 통해 어떠한 다종 간 얽힘과 엮임의 과정에서 여성농민과 공동체의 생태적 경험세계를 새롭게 구축해 나가는지를 규명하기 위해 물질과 돌봄을 중심으로 분석하고 있다. 본 연구의 주요 사례인 상주 지역 여성농민운동은 1990년대 사회변혁운동이라는 출발점에서 시작해 2000년대 이후 논과 밭이라는 땅을 중심으로 대안농업운동을 본격적으로 전개했다. 그 과정에서 여성농민들은 생태라는 인간 너머의 세계를 하나의 행위자로 재발견하는 동시에 물질-되기와 함께-되기를 통해 새로운 관계성을 구성할 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 기후위기 시대 여성농민운동의 생태적 전환 과정과 다종 간 관계성의 변화를 신유물론 페미니즘과 포스트휴먼 페미니즘이 교차하는 비판적 에코페미니즘을 중심으로 분석하고 있다.

Abstract

In response to the climate crisis, women peasants’ movements in Korea have developed a new ecopolitics by changing the relationship between soil, land, seeds, and crops while attempting an ecological transition to alternative agricultural movements. This paper intends to elucidate women peasants’ alternative agricultural movement as a process of intertwining and interweaving across multispecies. It focuses on materiality and care to clarify how the individuals embody new senses and reconstruct their experiential worlds. It attempts to analyze how women peasants construct a multispecies relationship with the ecology through the alternative agricultural movement and how they transform the relationship through ‘mattering’ and ‘becoming-with’ by focusing on critical ecofeminism and new material feminism.
