용서의 성경적 교훈(창 33:1-12)과 목회상담적 적용에 대한 고찰

논문의 연구 목적은 다양한 인간관계 속에서 갈등과 상처를 안고 살아가는 사람들에게 필요한 용서라는 소중한 주제를 다루고, 용서의 주제를 상담에 적용시켜 얻은 통찰을 제시하는 것이다. 만일 어떤 사람이 용서의 삶을 선택 하지않고부정적감정에얽매여살아갈때, 정신적또는신앙적상태가육 체적 질병으로 나타날 수 있다. 논문의 연구 방법은 성경 자료를 비롯하여 논문에 연관된 다수의 책과 논문들을 바탕으로 한 문헌연구를 중심으로 한다. 그리고 성경의 사례(에서 와 야곱)를 소개하고 다룸으로써 이론과 실제를 병행할 것이다. 용서와 화해 에 대한 성경의 본문은 본 논문이 용서의 주제에 대한 종합적인 성경적 연 구가 아니기 때문에, 창세기에 국한하여 다룰 것이다. 구체적으로는 창세기 33장 1-12절을 연구의 본문으로 제한하고자 한다. 이 논문은 학문적 가치와 파급효과에서 유의미한 의미를 지니고 있다. 왜냐하면 어떤 가정이나 교회 또는 기관의 구성원들 사이에는 위계적 구조, 경쟁또는오해로인하여갈등이전혀없을수없고, 그런요인들로인하여 부정적 감정이 쌓이고 용서하지 않으면 나중에 더 큰 문제로 비화될 수 있는 사람들이 존재하기 때문이다. 따라서 본고는 용서라는 소중한 주제에 대하여 성경 속에서 이론적 근거를 제시하고 있다는 점에서 학문적 가치가 있다. 이 논문의 공헌점은 철학자 데카르트의 명제를 활용하여, 용서에 대한 명제를 한 가지 표현해 보았다는 점이다. 그것은 ‘나는 용서한다. 그러므로 (나는) 성장한다.’이다. 또한, 용서와 연관된 구약성경의 본문(창 33:1-12)을 분석하고, 이 본문 속에서 목회상담의 상황에 적용시킬 수 있는 7가지 원리 들을 찾아내어 적용 가능성을 제시하고 있다는 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this academic paper is to investigate the issues of forgive- ness which needed to those who live in conflicts and pains of interpersonal relation and additionally to apply academic insights to the realm of pastoral counseling. The necessity of this thesis is that the unforgiving life of mental- ity and spirituality can result in physical diseases in the viewpoint that a person is a kind of holistic being in the domain of body, mind and spirit. The method of research of this academic paper is to study books and articles related the issue of forgiveness, to analyze Genesis 33:1-12, and to deal with a biblical case study(Esau and Jacob) that relates to the issue of forgiveness. The scope of studying this paper regarding the Bible is limited to Genesis 33:1-12 because this paper does not handle the whole materials in the Bible about the issue of forgiveness and reconciliation. Rather, this paper focuses on the issues of application to pastoral counseling of forgive- ness and reconciliation. The academic value of this paper will have no small ripple effect on the field of family, church and public institution including myself, because members of many institutions must confront hierarchical systems, rivals or conflicts, and so on. The contribution of this paper is as follows: First, with reference to Descartes’ precept, the writer tried to express the following sentence; I forgive. Therefore, I grow. Secondly, researcher introduces seven principles for pastoral application of forgiveness and they begin with a letter of acros- tic FORGIVE: Face, overcome, reconciliate, give, imitate, veteranize and empathize.
