‘복음과 상황’이 함께하는 복음주의 기독교교육의 모색

그리스도인은 자신이 속한 세계와 그 상황 속에서 영향을 주고받으며 살아간다. 그러므로 기독교교육에서는 분명한 기독교 복음을 오늘의 상황 가운데서 어떻게 가르칠 것인가의 과제에 봉착한다. 한국 복음주의 기독교육학계에서는 이 문제에 대해 깊은 연구가 이루어지지 못해 왔다. 이 ‘복음과 상황’의 문제가 신학적으로는 상황화 신학으로 발전해 번역 모델, 인류학적 모델, 실천 모델, 종합 모델, 초월 모델 등으로 나타난다. 한국에서 ‘복음과 상황’의 문제는 토착화 신학과 관련하여 인류학적 모델과 민중신학을 중심으로 실천 모델이 발전되었고, 남미를 중심으로 교육과 신학 분야에서 해방운동은 이 문제에 대한 깊은 논의가 있었음을 살폈다. 연구자는 이러한 논의를 기반으로 복음과 상황이 함께 가는 복음주의 기독교교육학을 모색하여 기독교교육학의 통전적인 접근, 복음주의 기독교교육학의 실천성의 회복, 다원주의 사회에서의 기독교 교리교육의 강화, 문화와 상황에 대한 가치관 교육 실시, 복음과 상황을 고려한 성경공부 교재의 개발, 유연성과 창의성을 가진 기독교교육 등 여섯 가지의 실제적인 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Christians live, exchanging influences with the world that they belong to and the situations that they are in, which raises a question as to how to teach the distinct Christian Gospel in Christian education in today’s context. It is unfortunate that the question has not received profound research attention in Korea’s Evangelical Christian education community. The question of “Gospel and Context” has theologically evolved into Contextual Theology, resulting in the translation, anthropological, praxis,synthetic, and transcendental model. In Korea, the question of “Gospel and Context” developed a practice model centered around the anthropological model and Minjung Theology in relation to Indigenization Theology. In South America, the Liberation Movement in the field of education and theology deeply discussed the question. The investigator examined Evangelical Christian Education that involved both Gospel and Context based on those discussions and proposed six practical directions, which include a wholistic approach toward Christian education, recovery of practicality in Evangelist Christian Education,reinforcement of Christian doctrine education in a pluralism society,education of values about culture and context, development of Bible study materials by considering Gospel and Context, and Christian education with flexibility and creativity.
