기독교 문화 형성을 위한 통전적 기독교교육의 성찰적 접근

기독교인들은 교회의 구성원이자 사회의 구성원이다. 이들은 두 문화 속에서 관계를 맺으며 서로 상호의존적이다. 이 두 문화는 서로 분리되거나 독립된 영역으로 여길 수 있는 것은 아니다. 본 연구는 기독교인이 현대 사회에서 어떤 위치에 있는가라는 질문의 응답을 찾고자 한다. 기독교인은 보편적 문화와 기독교의 특수한 문화 속에서 동시에 살고 있다. 보편적 문화와 집단이나 개인의 독특한 문화는 교육환경을 통해 형성되며 교육을 통해 재생산되거나 사회화 과정을 통해 전승된다. 문화와 기독교 전통은 서로 분리될 수 없다. 이를 위해 기독교교육은 사회문화를 중심으로 하는 삶의 현장에서 출발하는 교육과 교회 전통에서 출발하는 교육의 통전적 관점이 필요하다. 기독교인은 통전적 기독교교육을 위한 비판적 성찰적 방법을 통해 기독교전통과 사회문화와의 바른 관계를 형성하도록 돕고자 한다. 본 연구는 이를 위해 먼저 일반적인 문화에 대해 살펴보고, 이후에 문화변형을 위한 기독교교육에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 특별히 이 세대를 살아가는 한국 기독교인들이 추구해야 할 바른 기독교 문화를 형성하기 위해 통전적 기독교교육을 행할 수 있도록 이에 대한 비판적 성찰적 접근을 모색하고자 한다.
Abstract
Christians are the members of the Church and of the public. They are living in both cultures and have an interdependent relationship. These different cultures are not separated and are not considered their own entire section. This research will examine what position Christians hold in the modern society. Christians are living in both the universal culture in the modern society and the Christians' own culture. Both cultures are formed by the educational environment, reproduced by education and handed down in the process of socialization. Therefore, it is impossible to separate the culture and education. For forming the right Christian culture, Christian education needs the holistic perspective of both educations from the modern culture and the Christian classic. This study suggests how to establish the positive relationships between Christian tradition and social culture through the approach of the critical reflection in holistic education. This research, firstly, examines the general meanings of the culture and then christian education for transforming culture in our society and Christian community. Finally, it deals with the right christian culture which is pursued by Korean christians who are living in this generation through the approach of the critical reflection in holistic education.
