전통적 가치와 전통교육에 대한 교수자 의식 조사

본 연구는 전통교육 모형 및 프로그램 개발의 일환으로 기획되었으며, 그 시발로서 전통적 가치에 대한 교수자 의식을 설문을 통해 조사 · 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재의 초·중·고·대학교의 정규교육기관과 대학부설 연구소, 서원·향교 등의 사회교육기관에 재직중인 교강사 561명에 대한 전통 및 전통교육에 관한 설문을 실시하였으며, 전통교육 관련 프로그램의 참여 여부를 구분하여 연구결과에 반영하도록 하였다. 특히 본 연구에서 진행한 교수자 의식 조사에 앞서, 수도권 지역 초·중·고·대학의 학생 1,598명을 대상으로 전통적 가치에 대한 의식조사를 동일한 설문 문항을 통해 선행한 바 있다. 따라서 본 연구가 진행한 교수자 의식에 대한 연구결과를 확인하고, 결론의 논의를 통해 교수자와 학습자의 의식에 대한 종합적인 검토를 진행함으로써 전통교육 프로그램 개발에 관한 몇 가지 의미있는 시사를 다루고자 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study, which was being planned as part of developing traditional education models and programs, is to investigate and analyze the teacher’s perspective on traditional values through questionnaires. For this purpose, a survey on tradition and traditional education was conducted with 561 teachers working for formal education organizations including primary, secondary schools and universities, university research centers in metropolitan area, and social education institutes such as Seowon and Hyanggyo. In addition, the survey respondents participating in traditional education programs were classified into the result of the study. Particularly a survey on awareness of traditional values was conducted on 1,598 students of primary, secondary schools, and universities in metropolitan areas through the same questionnaires prior to the survey on the teacher’s perspective conducted in this study. Therefore, in this study, the implications were drawn for developing traditional education programs by comprehensively reviewing the results of the survey on the perspective of traditional values between teachers and learners.
