본 연구의 목적은 체화된 인지에 기반하여 유아물질놀이 안전교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌 고찰 및 선행 연구 분석, 유아 교사의 요구도 조사, 유아교육 전문가 델파이 조사를 통해 프로그램 시안을 개발하였다. 그리고 델파이 전문가들로부터 프로그램 시안의 적절성을 검토받아 프로그램 최종안을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 프로그램의 기본 관점, 개발 방향, 목적 및 목표, 주요 내용, 운영 방법, 평가, 운영 시 고려할 점 등의 구성 체계를 포함하였다. 그리고 프로그램 주요 내용별 활동안에는 물질, 가능한 놀이, 물질의 특이성, 물질의 위험성, 유아물질놀이 안전 경험에 대한 교사의 기대, 교사의 물질놀이 지원, 물질놀이 안전교육 진행 과정, 진행 시 유의 사항 등을 제시하였다. 프로그램의 활용은 교사 차원과 기관 차원으로 나누어 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a safety education program for young children’s material play based on embodied cognition. To achieve this, a draft program was designed through literature review, analysis of previous research, a needs assessment of early childhood teachers, and a Delphi survey with experts in early childhood education. The draft was then reviewed by Delphi experts for its appropriateness, and a final version was developed. The finalized program consists of the basic perspective, developmental direction, purpose and objectives, main contents, implementation methods, evaluation, and considerations for operation. In addition, the activity plans for each major content area include elements such as the material, possible play activities, material characteristics, potential risks, teachers’ expectations regarding children’s safety experiences, teachers’ support for material play, procedures for implementing safety education, and precautions during implementation. The utilization of the program was presented at both the teacher level and the institutional level.
