한국군에 적합한 군대윤리의 조건에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to draw the conditions of the military ethics that are suitable for Korean Army based on consideration of the unique situations of Korean Army. Since the Vietnam war, the U.S. army has recognized the importance of military ethics and steadily developed proper notion of military ethics and education system that fits into their conditions. However, the Korean military has not yet been able to get off from the U.S. military ethics and the education system and has not been able to develop our own military ethics and education system that fulfills the unique circumstances of Korean army. Therefore, not only recognizing a uniqueness of the situation but also developing a notion of military ethics and education system suitable for Korean Army are necessary work to be a morally and ethically desirable military forces. Staring from understanding universal and special aspects of Korean army, the conditions of military ethics for Korean army can be extracted from a consideration on what is the best form of military ethics for effectively overcoming various problems which arise from unique circumstances of Korean army. Thus this paper mainly deals with possible problems which are derived from uniqueness of Korean army and then extract the conditions of military ethics which need to overcome those problems and cultivate the moral discriminatory ability.
