집단음악치료 프로그램이 청소년의 스트레스와 분노 감소에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 청소년들의 스트레스와 분노를 감소시킬 수 있는 집단음악치료 프로그램을 개발하여 그 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 선행연구들을 토대로 본 연구의 프로그램의 틀을 갖춘 다음, 청소년의 심리적, 인지적, 신체적 특성을 고려하여 프로그램의 내용을 구성하였다. 연구 대상은 프로그램에 참여하기를 희망한 실업계 S고등학교의 2학년 남학생 48명 중 실험집단 16명, 비교집단 1에 16명, 비교집단 2에 16명으로 무선배치하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여, 실험집단에는 집단음악치료 프로그램을 실시하고, 비교집단 1은 아름다운 삶을 위한 구조화 집단상담 프로그램을, 비교집단 2에는 음악치료에 대한 강의로 구성한 프로그램을 각각 13회기 동안, 매회 90분간 실시하였다. 청소년의 스트레스, 분노 감소를 위한 집단음악치료 프로그램은 신뢰감 형성 및 인식, 자기개방 및 타인이해, 실행의 세 단계로 구성되었다. 사용된 도구는 안재원(1997)이 고등학생들을 대상으로 개발한 스트레스 검사, Spielberger와 그의 동료들(1985)이 제작하고, 김백영(1997)이 수정한 분노표현척도를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 사전⋅사후검사의 평균과 표준편차를 구하고, 프로그램의 효과를 분석하기 위하여 공변량 분석(ANCOVA)을 하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결론은 첫째, 집단음악치료 프로그램은 청소년의 스트레스를 감소시키는 데 긍정적인 효과를 보여 주었다. 둘째, 집단음악치료 프로그램은 청소년의 분노를 감소시키는 데 긍정적인 효과를 보여 주었다. 주요어 : 집단음악치료 프로그램, 스트레스, 분노

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to develop group music therapy program that reduced stress and anger of adolescents, and verified its effects. Based on the results of previous researches, the program framework was made in consideration of the psychological, cognitive and physical features of adolescents. The research subjects were 48 male junior students from S vocational high school who wished to take part in the program. With complete randomized design method, 16 students were placed as experimental group, while the remaining 32 students were divided equally to 16 each in comparative group 1 and group 2. To confirm the effect of the program, group music therapy program was implemented in experimental group, while structured group counseling on beautiful life was made for comparative group 1, and 90 minutes long 13 lectures on music therapy were provided to comparative group 2. This therapeutic program to reduce stress and anger for adolescents was composed of three stages, namely trust development and cognitive stage, stage of self-disclosure and understanding of others, and execution stage. The stress examination of high school students developed by Jae-Won Ahn(1997), and STAXI of Spielberger(1988) and his colleagues(Johnson, Russel, Crane, Jocobs, & Worden, 1985), which was revised by Baek-Young Kim(1997), were instruments that were used in the study. The data from this study were analyzed the mean and standard deviation before and after the examination, and used the analysis of covarience(ANCOVA) to measure the effect of the program. The findings from the study showed that first, the group music therapy program produced positive outcomes in reducing stress of adolescents. Second, the group music therapy program also decreased anger levels of adolescents. Key words : group music therapy program, stress, anger
