『한국경학자료집성-역경』(12책~23책)의 구성 내용과 역학적 특징 분류(Ⅱ)

Abstract

In this study we considered and classified the composition content, the amount of writing, and the characteristics of Yi Xue(易學) contained in the 『The Korean Confucian Classics Data Integration(韓國經學資料集成) - The Book of Changes(易經)』 (total 37 volumes) which compiled Korean Yi xue, as a foundation study for writing 『The history of Korean Yi Xue(韓國易學史)』. At the same time, this paper examines the current status translated from 『The Korean Zhou-Yi Comprehensive Collection(韓國周易大全)』. 『The Korean Confucian Classics Data Integration - The Book of Changes』’s volume 12 to 23 collected Yi Xue data written by a total of 58 Confucianists who were active in the 17th and early 19th centuries. In the text, we summarized Yi Xue’s characteristics and meanings, and it’s detailed composition contents etc. in a chart. And these were classified into 8 types according to characteristics of Yi Xue. In volumes 12 to 23 of the 『Collection of Korean Confucian Classics – The Book of Changes』, there are eight commentaries on the 『Zhou Yi(周易)』 including partial commentaries on the 『Zhou Yi』 and one commentary on the 『Yi Xue Qi Meng(易學啟蒙)』 written by royal command. Additionally, there are many annotation from a creative perspective, the Yi Xue data of critical viewpoint, and Yi Xue theory trying to clarify the question of Yi Xue. Over time, various commentaries have been published, encompassing diverse symbolic numbers(象數) and moral principles(義理) discussed by King Jeongjo(正祖) and scholars during royal lectures(經筵, Jing Yan) while also covering detailed examinations of theories such as the change of hexagram(卦變), Hu Ti(互體), images of Yi(易象), and the picture of images(圖象) etc. The 58 scholars’s Yi Xue data in volumes 12 to 23 of the 『The Korean Confucian Classics Data Integration - The Book of Changes』 have been translated into 21 types of literature in the 『The Korean Zhou-Yi Comprehensive Collection』. In summary, the volumes 12 to 23 of the 『The Korean Confucian Classics Data Integration - The Book of Changes』 encompasses the Yi Xue theory of scholars of Han(漢), Song(宋) and Yuan(元) dynasties, as well as there are many theories that critically interpret the Yi Xue of Cheng Yi(程頤) and Zhu Xi(朱熹). In particular, critical problem consciousness about the 『Yi Xue Qi Meng』 surfaced, and various views on its judgments(辭), its changes(變), its images(象), and its divinatory(占) etc. were drawn for the fundamental category and evaluation of dynamics. As a result, it can be confirmed that the Yi Xue data contained in the volumes 12 to 23 of the 『The Korean Confucian Classics Data Integration - The Book of Changes』 are also important as the basis and foundation for writing the 『The history of Korean Yi Xue』.
