평생학습과 행복과의 관계 - 자아존중감과 몰입을 중심으로-

본 연구의 목적은 행복과 평생학습의 개념에 대한 학문적 접근이 어떻게 이루어져왔는지를 심도있게 고찰하고, 자아존중감의 개념이 행복과 어떠한 관련을 맺고 있는지를 탐색하고자 한다. 그리고 평생학습과 행복의 개념이 어떠한 방식으로 관계를 맺을 수 있는지에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 인간의 삶은 학습을 통한 자아완성과 실현 나아가 그것이 곧 인간의 행복으로 연결되어진다. 이에 오늘의 교육현실 속에서 돌아보고 행복한 삶을 위해 학습과 관련된 행복의 구성요소를 자아존중감과 몰입의 관점에서 탐색하였다. 행복이 목적인 교육을 통한 국민의 지속적인 능력개발은 국가의 경제적 성장과 직결된다. 이를 위해서는 무엇보다도 성인의 평생학습 참여율 제고를 통한 평생학습 활성화가 필요하다. 그렇기 때문에 본 연구에서는 평생학습에 대한 긍정적 태도를 형성할 수 있도록 평생학습에 대한 올바른 인식 확산이 선행되어야 함을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand how the concept of happiness and lifelong learning has been approached and developed in the academic field, and to investigate what is the relationship between the concept of self-respect and happiness. Based on this reflection, this study would discuss the possibility of how lifelong learning can make connection with happiness. It can be said that human life usually consists of self-realization through training, and this process is finally connected to their happiness. For that reason, this study would review current education circumstances at first, and discuss factors that make people happy from the viewpoint of self-respect and immersion. Education which pursues happiness tend to constantly develop human ability. Under the these discussion, this paper argues that education for happiness cannot but have the direct relationship with economic growth. To do that, it is necessary to make lifelong education activated through reviewing of adults' participation in a life-long education. Finally, this study suggests that it is important to build proper awareness of lifelong education in order to form a positive attitude toward lifelong education.
