초록
The intention of this paper is to dig out the cultural roots of German fascism through throwing the spotlight at the cultural violence in the German modern family with the help of an historical film The White Ribbon (2009) by the internationally famous Austrian filmdirector Michael Haneke. Chapter II analyses in detail many bad fathers in modern Germany who practised various serious violences against his children convincedly in the name of love. In this analysis we can hear an unpleasing answer about the important question why most father was surprisingly translated into a bad father in his home, although he should be publicly acknowledged as a good man. Chapter III finds out the another problem which types of family violences could be really taken into practise under any circumstances. In this research we can divide such family violences into the basic different forms. Most of these violences had its pathological symptoms which could be very dangerous both bodily and mentally. Chapter IV examines the types and characters of the wounded children who were usually considered as the victims of the family violence. In this examination we realize that these usual children could be not only the passive victims, but they could also be translated into the active actor who instantly oder later became the cruel agency to reproduce many social violences. Finally, we come to a conclusion that this historical film made clear that the home space could be just the dangerous matrix of the violent man Homo violence and its cultural violence could be very dangerous seedbed of the socially noxious evils. From this viewpoint, we firmly presuppose that such children with psychological trauma could possibly become later cruel German fascists who helped to activate the state violences against the cultural and racial outsiders in Nazi Germany. In this meanings this film can be considered as very valuable, especially in that it can help to explain the cultural roots of German fascism that resulted in the irreparable catastrophe in modern Germany.
