본 논문에서는 동태 연산가능일반균형(CGE) 모형을 이용하여 역내 포괄적경제동반자협정(RCEP)로 대표되는 동아시아 경제통합과 환태평양경제동반자협정(TPP)의 경제적 효과(실질 GDP 변화)를 도출한다. 그리고 그 결과를 활용하여 한국, 중국, 일본 간 게임 나무(game tree)를 활용하여 부분게임완벽균형(SPNE)에 해당되는 전략집합을 찾고 분석한다. 분석결과에 따르면 단기적으로는 모든 국가가 TPP를 선택하는 것이 부분게임완벽균형(SPNE)가 되지만, 장기적으로 SPNE하에서 한국은 RCEP을 선택하게 된다. 중국과 일본이 적극적인 선택을 한다는 가정에서 한국의 입장에서 TPP나 RCEP이라는 어떠한 선택에 대해서 순수하게 긍정적인 결과를 기대할 수는 없다. 그러나 한국은 더 나은 결과를 이끌어 내기 위해 적극적으로 TPP나 RCEP에 임해야 한다는 점을 본 논문은 보여준다.
Abstract
This paper estimates the economic effect of east asian economic integration, represented by Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement, and Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) using dynamic Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model. From the results, It finds and analyzes subgame perfect Nash equilibrium (SPNE) strategic set in the game tree of Korea, China, and Japan. According to the results, in the short-run, the SPNE is where all three coutries choose the TPP, but in the long-run Korea would choose the RCEP on the SPNE. For Korea, neither the TPP nor RCEP would bring purely positive results. However. Korea would have to be actively involved not to face better circumstances.
