한중 FTA 상품협정이 서비스 무역에 미치는 효과 분석: 부가가치 기준 무역을 중심으로

최근 한중 FTA의 발효와 함께 그 경제적 효과에 관한 관심이 커지고 있다. 기존의 관련 연구들은 한중 FTA의 결성에 따른 총액 차원의 수출입 효과 분석을 주로 하고 있고, 양국간 상품협정에 따른 제조 부문에서의 무역․생산 효과를 다루고 있으며, 특히 한중 FTA에 따른 무역창출효과 분석을 주로 행하고 있다. 그러나 한중 FTA의 경제적 효과 분석에서 총액 기준의 무역 효과는 물론 이중계산을 배제하는 부가가치 기준 무역 관련 연구가 필요하며, 한중 FTA 상품협정의 발효는 한국과 중국의 직간접 서비스 무역 유발에 상당한 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되어 서비스무역에 미치는 영향을 파악할 필요가 있으며, 아울러 무역창출 효과는 물론 무역전환효과 분석이야말로 정책적 의미가 클 것으로 사료된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 WIOD가 제시한 WIOT를 활용하여 한중 FTA가 양국 경제에 미치는 실질적인 효과를 서비스 무역에 초점을 맞추고, 부가가치 기준의 무역창출은 물론 전환효과를 분석하여 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
As Korea-China FTA did take effect on 2015, there have been so many studies on it’s economic effect. The existing studies mainly focus on the total trade creation effect of manufacturing sectors in Korea and China. However, what is important in the economic effect of Korea-China FTA might not be the total trade effect but trade effect in value added. Also trade diversion effect as well as the trade creation effect is very important factor in the economic effect of FTA. Furthermore we have to be into the trade effect of FTA on the service sectors. In this study we focus on the service trade effect in value added and trade diversion effect as well as trade creation effect of Korea-China FTA. We use the international input-output table by WIOD (World Input Output Database) and look for some policy implications on Korea-China FTA.
