본 논문은 한ㆍ중 FTA의 필요성과 FTA의 일반적 경제효과를 고찰한 후 GTAP 모형에 의한 한ㆍ중 FTA의 경제적 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 관세의 완전철폐의 경우, 후생수준의 경우 한국은 중국보다 상당한 수준의 증가로, 기타 지역은 경제적 후생 수준의 감소로 나타났다. 국내 총생산효과의 경우 한국과 중국은 각각 2.985%, 0.057%의 증가를, 기타 지역은 0.003%의 감소로 나타났다. 수입증가율의 경우는 한국이 14.95%, 중국이 4.57%의 증가를, 기타 지역은 0.13%의 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 수출변화율 역시 수입변화율과 유사한 형태이다. 무역규모의 경우를 보면, 한국은 중국에 대해 수입은 약 302억 달러, 수출은 약 199억 달러 증가가 예상되며, 중국은 한국에 대해 수입 199억 달러, 수출 302억 달러 증가가 예상된다. 무역수지의 경우는 한국은 약 36.2억 달러, 중국은 5.7억 달러의 감소가 예상되며, 한국은 중국에 대해 약 102.8억 달러의 무역수지의 개선, 기타 지역에 대해서는 약 38.7억 달러의 무역수지 악화가 예상된다. 각 요소별 무역수지 변화는 예상대로 곡물류 등 농업부문에서는 큰 피해가 예상되며, 섬유ㆍ의복ㆍ가죽류ㆍ화학제품류 등 제조업부문에서는 무역수지 개선의 효과가, 서비스부문에서는 다소 무역수지 악화가 예상된다. 각 요소별 생산액 효과에서도 곡물류, 기타 농작물, 임업류 등은 수입 증가로 인해 국내생산액이 감소로 금속제품류, 운송장비류 등도 감소할 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 야채ㆍ견과류, 육류, 수산물류, 기타 식품류, 섬유ㆍ의복ㆍ가죽류, 종이ㆍ인쇄류, 무역ㆍ비즈니스 서비스 등은 증가할 것으로 분석되었다.
Abstract
This paper focused on the analysis of the economic effect in the Korea-China FTA using the GTAP Model after examining the necessity of the Korea-China FTA and the general economic effect of FTA. According to the findings of this analysis, for the complete removal of tariffs, Korea showed a considerable increase compared with China in the level of welfare and other areas its decrease. For the effectiveness of GDP, Korea and China were increased by 2.985% and 0.057%, respectively, and other areas decreased by 0.003%. For an increasing rate of import, Korea showed 14.95%, China 4.57% and other areas minus 0.13%. A rate of change in export is also a similar pattern to that in import. For the size of trade, Korea compared with China is expected to be increased by about US$ 30.2 bill in import and by about US$ 19.9 bill in export, and China compared with Korea is expected to be increased by US$ 19.9 bill in import and US$ 30.2 bill in export. For the balance of trade, Korea is expected to be decreased by US$ 3.62 bill and China decreased by US$ 0.57 bill, and Korea's trade with China is expected to be improved by US$ 10.28 bill and Korea's trade with other areas aggravated by about US$ 3.62 bill. The change of trade payments by each factor is expected to be badly damaged in the agricultural part such as grains as we anticipated, the improving effect of trade payments in the manufacturing part such as fiber·clothes·leather types·chemical products, and somewhat the aggravating effect of trade payments in the service part. Also in the effect of production amount, such types as grain, forestry and other crops showed a decreasing amount of domestic production due to the increase of import and such types of metal goods and transport equipment showed a decreasing amount as well. However, it is analysed to be increased in the items such as vegetables·nuts, meat, marine products, other foods, fiber·clothes·leathers, papers·prints, trade·business service.
