Abstract

Background : Recently, artificial intelligence emerging as a promising technology, intensive research and development are being carried out in domestic and overseas, and intelligent assistant utilizing artificial intelligence technology is also growing. However, at present, the intelligent assistant can not be expected to propose a task continuously by learning the behavior pattern of the user. That is, there is a limitation in analyzing the detailed action unit since the user's context element is not reflected. Thus, this study aims to investigate the timely experience context of intelligent assistant service based on user context adapted to user's real - time activities. Methods : In this study, it was important to grasp the user's motivation and to understand the context. Therefore, the user experience was studied through in - depth interview and user observation. After that, we developed a participatory toolkit for participatory design research to grasp the factors that affect personalized experience and to understand the timely experiences required by users. Participatory design research was conducted for general users. Result : We developed a timely experience framework by classifying the characteristics of each stage of cooking through user's representative behavior context derived from user experience research. By developing the framework, we defined the point at which the intelligent assistant should timely braking by cooking stage, improving the context in the user's cooking situation, and grasping trends and patterns of user data. Conclusion : In this study, we analyzed timely experience context data in the derived cooking situation by understanding context through user experience research. It is expected that the framework will be developed and used as effective data for smart home intelligent assistant service development in the future cooking situation.
