텍스트마이닝을 활용한 대중의 태권도 시범 인식 구조 분석: 유튜브 댓글 중심으로

본 연구는 유튜브에 업로드된 태권도 시범공연 영상의 댓글을 분석하여 대중의 인식 구조를 실증적으로 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하였으며, 유튜브 업로드된 태권도 시범 영상 3편에서 총 1,062개의 댓글을 수집·전처리한 후, 단어 빈도 분석, N-gram 분석, CONCOR 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 단어빈도 상위에는 ‘대한민국’, ‘멋있다’, ‘자랑’, ‘우리’, ‘여성’ 등이 나타나 대중이 태권도 시범공연을 긍정적으로 수용하고 있음을 보여주었다. 둘째, N-gram 분석에서는 ‘대한민국-여성-등장-비웃음-참가-팀’과 같은 연쇄 구조가 나타나, 영상의 제목 및 서사와 일치하는 흐름이 확인되었으며, ‘태권도-시범’, ‘우리-우리나라’ 등의 키워드 연쇄가 상위에 도출되었다. 셋째, CONCOR 분석에서는 ‘대외적 평판’, ‘감정적 반응과 공감’, ‘공연 이미지와 상징’, ‘시범 기술과 수행 주체’의 네 개 군집이 도출되었으며, 이는 태권도 시범공연이 정서적 감동, 국가 상징성, 기술적 전문성 등 다양한 차원에서 대중과 소통하고 있음을 시사한다. 이러한 결과는 태권도 시범공연이 단순한 무예 시연을 넘어 문화적 콘텐츠로 기능하고 있음을 실증적으로 보여주며, 향후 시범공연 기획 및 전략 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.
Abstract
This study aimed to empirically analyze the public perception structure of Taekwondo demonstration performances by examining comments on related videos uploaded to YouTube. Using text mining techniques, a total of 1,062 comments were collected and preprocessed from three Taekwondo demonstration videos. Frequency analysis, N-gram analysis, and CONCOR analysis were conducted using the Textom program. The results revealed that, first, frequently occurring words such as Korea, awesome, proud, we, and female indicate a generally positive reception of Taekwondo performances by the public. Second, the N-gram analysis identified a sequential pattern such as Korea–female–appearance–ridicule–participant–team, which aligned with the narrative structure of the video titles. Other high-frequency word pairs included Taekwondo–performance and we–our country. Third, the CONCOR analysis produced four major clusters: external reputation, emotional response and empathy, performance image and symbolism, and demonstration technique and performer. Ultimately, this study confirms the role of Taekwondo demonstration performances as cultural content that transcends simple martial arts displays. The identified perception structure may serve as foundational data for future performance planning and strategic development.
