본 연구는 현재 충무공 이순신 관련 문화콘텐츠를 비롯하여 다양한 해양 문화콘텐츠에 대한 개발과 확산을 시도하고 있는 경상남도 통영시를 중심으로 지역문화콘텐츠 개발 방안을 모색하는 내용을 담고 있다. 특히 통영은 임진왜란 당시 이순신 장군의 대표적 승첩지인 한산도를 비롯하여 다양한 해양군사문화를 품고 있어 관련 문화콘텐츠 개발이 절실한 상황이다. 먼저, 임진왜란 당시 이순신 장군의 한산도 전략 거점기지화 이유와 한산도에서 펼친 다양한 활동 사항을 정리하였다. 대표적으로 군선의 복구를 비롯하여 진중무과를 통한 인재선발과 둔전경영을 시도하여 상당한 효과를 거뒀음을 확인하였다. 이러한 통영과 한산도의 의미를 문화콘텐츠화 하기 위하여 세가지의 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, <통영한산>이라는 실경 공연작품을 강구안 해상무대에서 펼치는 공연문화콘텐츠다. 둘째, 통영 지역민과 학생들과 함께 공유할 수 있는 교육문화콘텐츠다. 셋째, 체험문화콘텐츠의 영역이다. 이를 통해 통영의 문화콘텐츠가 한시적인 ‘소비의 시간’에서 지역민의 삶과 어우러지는 ‘축적의 공간’으로의 거듭날 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study includes the content of exploring ways to develop regional cultural contents, focusing on Tongyeong City, which is attempting to develop and spread various maritime cultural contents, including those related to Admiral Yi Sun-sin. In particular, Tongyeong have to a variety of maritime military cultures, including Hansan Island, the site of Admiral Yi Sun-sin's most famous battle during the Imjin War, and there is a pressing need to develop related cultural content. First, it summarizes the reasons why Admiral Yi Sun-sin made Hansan Island a strategic base during the Imjin War and the various activities he manage on Hansan Island. I proposal three plans were presented to turn the meaning of Tongyeong and Hansando into cultural content. First, there is the cultural performance content, where a realistic performance piece called "Tongyeong Hansan(통영한산)" will be performed at the Gangguan Marine Stage. Secondly, it is educational and cultural content that can be shared with Tongyeong residents and students. Thirdly, in the area of experiential cultural content. This will enable Tongyeong's cultural content to be transformed from a temporary "Time of Consumption" into a "Space of Accumulation" that is shared with the lives of local residents.
