ハブルータ学習法を取り入れた日本語語彙授業の学習効果 - 韓国人日本語学習者を対象として -

This study aims to investigate the learning effects and perceptions when the Havruta learning method is applied to Japanese vocabulary classes. The survey on the following factors shows that applying the Havruta method to Japanese vocabulary classes is effective in improving logical thinking, metacognition, and memory from the perspective of learning effects. Students who experienced the Havruta learning method showed a positive perception in that they could clearly distinguish what they didn't know during group study and work together on vocabulary activities in pairs or groups, which would have felt lonely if done alone. However, some students felt that the level of the sentences used in the Havruta class was too difficult, or that it felt more like a reading class than a vocabulary class. To increase the effectiveness of classes based on the Havruta learning method, future tasks include analyzing the learners’ levels in advance and setting aside time for self-study to utilize the words learned in the interpreted sentences.
