중학생의 사회적 지지와 사회불안에 대한 학업성취도의 영향에 관한 연구

이 연구는 중학생을 대상으로 학업 성취 수준에 따라 사회적 지지와 사회불안의 수준에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 한 것으로 전남지역 소재 2개 중학교 2학년 학생 491명을 대상으로 학력진단평가 결과를 바탕으로 학업성취도를 분류하여 사회적 지지와 사회불안에 관한 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며 학업성취도에 따른 사회적 지지의 정도 그리고 학업성취도에 따른 사회불안의 차이를 각각 One way- Anova를 실시하여 알아보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 학업성취도가 우수한 학생들이 부진한 학생들에 비해 친구, 부모, 교사로부터 사회적 지지를 많이 받고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 학업성취도가 우수한 학생들이 부진한 학생들에 비해 사회불안을 적게 느끼고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The aim of the study is to find out if the level of middle students' academic achievement makes a difference in those of social support and social unrest. A survey was taken of 491 second middle school students in 2007, 223 in Haenam and 268 in Mokpo city. They were divided into the superiority group and the inferiority on the basis of the result of their academic achievement diagnosis test and questioned of their social support and social unrest. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0 programme. One way- Anova was executed between the two groups for the difference in the social support and social unrest. The following conclusions were reached on the basis of these analyses. First, students of high academic achievement have more social support of their parents, friends and teachers than those of low academic achievement. Secondly, the superiority have lower level of social unrest compared to the inferiority in academic achievement.
