A Study Through the Perspective of 「Adj.+N」 Kanji-Words in Japanese[ Focused on Sharing Information ]

The purpose of this paper is to make clear one of Japanese linguistic character using a new scale of UCHI/SOTO (YOSO); “Sharing Information”. Not only Japanese but many other languages also have a similar division based on social relationships. However in Japanese it is possible to view from the relationship between THEME and dialogue participants. This paper rethinks Japanese uniqueness with using this relationship from the “N+Adj.”-form 2Kanji words’ point of view. To make clear Japanese uniqueness, this paper tries to compare Japanese with Korean. Both languages have many similarities as 2Kanji words, and most of these 2Kanji words have the same semantic and phonetic construction. However, Korean doesn’t have any “N+Adj.”-form 2 Kanji words like “ashi-naga”. This paper suggests that a better understanding Japanese language and culture from the relationship between not participants but THEME-participants from the “N+Adj.”-form 2Kanji words’ examples.
