Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the literary world view that Lee Wonsoo expressed through the children’s plays. It studied on the analysis of the causes of conflict situation and the techniques of conflict resolution of Lee Wonsoo’s children’s play. In the same way, it explored the literary world view of Lee Wonsoo’s children’s play. The whole works in the complete works of Lee Wonsoo, published by Woongjin publishing company, are the subject texts of the study. It tried to anlayze the causes of conflict situation and the techniques of conflict with 23 Lee Wonsoo’s children’s plays(2 dramas, 17 broadcast plays, 3 TV plays, 1 dialogue play). It analyzes the causes of conflict situation in Lee Wonsoo’s children’s plays as economic deficit, national crisis and disaster and confrontation and conflict with human relations. Moreover, it embodies fantastical technique, realism technique and song technique as conflict resolution techniques. Upon it, it suggested that, through humanity in his children’s plays, Lee Wonsoo gave hopes that children could overcome their adversity with positive energy. The results of this study, which first found literary values and epic drama techniques of children’s plays, would be a foundation for other studies in children’s plays.
