초록

본 연구는 고령 여성을 대상으로 12주간 운동빈도에 따른 Estradiol, Cortisol 및 근골격체력의 변화를 검증하기 위해서 65세 이상 고령 여성들 30명을 선정하고, CG(cotrol group, n=10), 3TEG(3 times/week exercise group, n=10), 5TEG(5 times/week exercise group, n=10)로 분류하여 12주간의 순환운동을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effect of the frequency of circuit exercise during 12 weeks on estradiol, cortisol, and physical fitness in the elderly women. Thirty elderly women were participated and divided into CG(control group, n=10), 3TEG(3 times/week exercise group, n=10), and 5TEG(5 times/week exercise group, n=10). Estradiol was not change in CG, but there were significantly increased in 3TEG and 5TEG(P<.01, P<.001, respectively). Cortisol was significantly increased in CG(P<.05), but there was no significant difference in 3TEG. Whereas, 5TEG was significantly decreased after circuit exercise(P<.05). The changes in fitness including grip strength and muscular endurance were not shown in CG, but 3TEG and 5TEG were significanlty increased(P<.01, P<.001, respectively). However, there was no change in bone density. The results of this study explained that higher exercise frequency is thought to be an effective way of exercise in elderly women to achieve both the increase of estradiol and the decrease of cortisol at the cost of lowering the amount of exercise in a session.
