고대사의 재정립 과정과 개화기 傳의 서술 양상 연구- 신채호의 <슈군의 뎨일 거륙 인물 리??신젼>을 중심으로 송 명 진 한국에서 史에 대한 인식을 오랫동안 지배해왔던 것은 유학적 사관이었다. 유학적 사관은 감고계금을 목적으로 하며 따라서 史는 감계의 효율성을 위해 이실직서의 원칙으로 서술되었다. 사실에 근거한 역사 서술 태도는 신화적 서술로 구성되어 있는 고대사와 직면할 경우 문제적이다. 실제로 한국의 대표적 사서들인 삼국사기, 동국통감, 동사강목은 단군조선을 서술한 古記류들이 신이하다하여 고대사를 史의 체계에서 배제해버렸다. 그러나 개화기에 이르러서 史에 대한 인식은 변했다. 우승열패라는 국제 정세는 역사를 통해 한민족의 우수성에 대한 자긍심을 높일 필요성을 제기했다. 따라서 개화기 교과서 위주로 편찬된 사서와 신채호 등에 의해 서술된 사서는 그동안 유학적 사관에 의해 배제되었던 야사를 정사로 편입시켜 단군조선을 정식 역사로 인정했다. 이는 한민족의 기원을 중국과 대등하게 구성함으로써 민족에 대한 자긍심을 높이려는 의도를 내포한 것이다.개화기에 이르러 변화된 史는 구국의 영웅을 입전한 傳의 서술 태도에 영향을 미쳤다. 史가 강인한 고대사를 구성하기 위해 야사에서 사료를 취하듯, 傳 또한 소설류에서 소재를 취하거나 혹은 다른 시공간에서 발생한 사건들을 동일한 시공간 속에 극화시킴으로써 인물의 영웅적 면모를 부각시켰다. 한편 개화기의 史는 국민 개개인으로 하여금 한민족의 자긍심을 갖도록 구성되었다. 따라서 이에 영향을 받은 영웅을 입전한 傳 또한 서사성보다는 계몽성의 극대화를 드러낸다. 대한매일신보에 연재되었던 신채호의 <리??신젼>은 정기 휴간일을 염두에 두고 서술함으로써 역사적 사건에 대한 보여주기와 그에 대한 논평을 긴밀하게 연결하여 계몽의 기획을 직접적으로 드러냈다.
Abstract
A Study on the Ancient History and the Biographiesin Modern Korean Enlightenment Period- focusing on Shin Chae-Ho' Lee Sun-Sin Biography Song Myung JinThe Confucian view of history is dominant in Korea for a long time. It was for the purpose of enlightenment. Therefore only fact was important in writing history. But this historical view became a serious problems in writing the ancient history. Because it was written by the mythical narration. Representative Korean-History books excluded the ancient history actually. But the historical view changed in Modern Korean Enlightenment Period. The international situation of the survival of the fittest aroused national consciousness. Therefore the history must raise national pride. An unauthorized history was incorporated into an official history in Modern Korean Enlightenment Period. In result, the Dangun-Chosen which excluded all the while was received recognition. This changed historical view had an effect on writing of Biographies. As history accepted the official and unofficial histories, so fictions was incorporated into biographies in Modern Korean Enlightenment Period. This was strategy to bring out the heroes in sharp relief.And the history was constructed to inspire national pride into the Korean race in Modern Korean Enlightenment Period. Therefore Biographies also put emphasis on enlightenment than narrativity. Shin, Chae-Ho' Lee Sun-Sin Biography was published serially in The Korea Daily News connected showing the historical events with it's comments with consideration a ‘no-issue´ day. This planned to maximize the enlightenment.
