본 연구는 경계선 증후군 어머니의 대상관계 부모교육에 대한 경험을 분석하고 그 내용을 통합할 수 있는 경험의 구조와 의미의 이해를 통해서 경계선증후군 어머니와 대상관계 부모교육에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 연구의 방법으로 Giorgi의 현상학적 방법을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 참여자들은 경계선 증후군 어머니 10명이며, 참여자들과의 심층면담을 통해서 자료를 수집하였고, 수집한 자료를 Giorgi의 질적 분석 단계에 따라 참여자들의 면담내용을 반복적으로 읽어나가면서 의미단위와 경험의 구성요소를 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경계선 증후군 어머니의 대상관계 부모교육 프로그램 경험 내용에서 의미단위는 112개와 구성요소 11개, 하위구성요소 42개가 도출되었고, 그 내용으로는 고통스러운 삶, 변화에 대한 열망, 내면의 통찰, 변화를 위한 노력, 지지를 받음, 자기이해 및 수용, 긍정적인 표상이 생김, 좋은 엄마가 되어감, 관계의 재정립. 원 가족과의 분리가 됨, 건강한 삶으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 경계선 증후군 어머니를 위한 대상관계 부모교육 프로그램 참여자들은 어린 시절 부모와의 경험이 자신과 자녀, 가족 모두에게 정서와 심리적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고하였다. 셋째, 경계선 증후군 어머니를 위한 대상관계 부모교육 프로그램 참여자들은 자신들이 겪는 삶의 힘듦과 고통은 자신뿐만 아니라 자녀와 가족에게까지 영향을 미쳐서 심리적 고통을 갖게 된다는 인식을 갖게 된 것으로 드러났다. 넷째, 경계선 증후군 어머니를 위한 대상관계 부모교육 프로그램 참여자들은 자신이 과거에 살아온 삶에 대한 통찰과 희망을 통해 스스로 삶의 주체로서 살면 고통스러운 삶을 자녀에게 전수해 주지 않을 수 있다는 믿음을 가지고 좋은 어머니로서 자녀 양육에 최선을 다하게 되는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for object relation parent education program and mother with borderline syndrome through understanding structure and meaning of experience which can integrate the contents, analyzing the structure and meaning of participation experience of object relationship parent education program of mother with borderline syndrome. For this study, the phenomenological method presented by Giorgio was applied. Participants were 10 mothers with borderline syndrome, the data were collected through the depth interview. The meaning unit and the components of the experience were derived through the repetitive reading of the interviews of the participants according to the qualitative analysis step of Georgi. The results of this study were summarized as follows. First, 112 meaning units, 42 subcomponents, and 11 components in the experience of participating in the program were derived, the components were revealed painful life, desire for change, inner insight, effort for change, support, self-understanding and acceptance, positive representation, becoming a good mother, re-establishing relationships, and a healthy life. Second, the participants of parent education program for the mother with borderline syndrome reported that childhood experiences with parent affect the whole life including themselves and family emotionally and psychologically. Third, it was revealed that the participants of parent education program for the mother with borderline syndrome have recognized that the pain and suffering of them affect not only themselves, but also their children and family, and cause psychological distress. Forth, it was revealed that the participants of parent education program for the mother with borderline syndrome have done their best to raise their children as a good mother with the belief that they may not transfer their painful life if they live as a subject of life through insights and hopes of their own life.
