초록

This study examines structural relationships among cognitive and affective trust toward leader, trust toward organization, organizational commitment, job performance, and helping behavior. Research hypotheses were developed based on previous literature, and data were collected from 276 employees in hotel foodservice department. The collected data were then analyzed using frequence, reliability, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and SEM (structural equation modeling) with SPSS/WIN 18.0 and AMOS 20.0. The result of SEM analysis provided the following model fits:χ2=104.268, d.f.=45 (χ2/d.f.=2.317), p=.000, GFI=.943, AGFI=.901, RMSEA=.069, NFI=.965, IFI=.980, CFI=.980. This result demonstrates a good fit, and thus further analyses were conducted. Major findings proved that cognitive trust toward leader had positive effects on affective trust toward leader and trust toward organization. However cognitive trust toward leader did not statistically affect organizational commitment. Another notable finding is that affective trust toward leader had a positive effect on organizational commitment.
