정신장애인의 취업결정요인에 관한 연구

본 연구는 정신장애인의 취업에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를위해 2008년 장애인실태조사 패널을 활용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 정신장애인의 특성을인구사회적 특성, 장애 관련 특성, 복지서비스 및 소득이전 요인으로 구분하여 정신장애인의 취업에 미치는 영향을 기술통계와 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 분석해 보았다. 분석에 따른 정신장애인의 취업을 결정하는 요인을 살펴보면 인구학적 요인 중에서는 연령과최종학력이 낮을수록 취업의 가능성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 장애관련 요인에서는남의 도움을 덜 필요로 할수록 취업의 가능성이 증가하며, 복지서비스 관련 요인으로는장애인복지사업 참여경험이 있을수록, 사적소득이전이 많을수록 정신장애인의 취업 가능성은 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 변인들 중에서 가장 영향력이 큰 것은 학력, 남의 도움 필요정도, 연령, 장애인복지사업 참여정도, 사적소득이전 순이었다. 이러한 분석결과를토대로 정신장애인의 취업활성화 관련 함의를 도출하였고, 정신장애인의 취업활성화를위한 몇 가지 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 정신장애인의 취업증진 관련 프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting employment of the person with psychiatric disabilities. The data analysed was extracted from 2008 Survey of the Disabled Persons done by Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. This study divided factors as demographic factors, disability related variables, welfare related variables. The results were as follows: First, among demographic variables, age, education were predictor variable. Second, among disability variables, the need to get help from others was predictor variable. Third, among welfare related variables, experience of service for the disabled,private income support were predictor variables. The high level variables affecting employment of the person with the psychiatric disability was education,the next were the need to get help from others, age, experience of service for the disabled, private income support. Upon these research, authors discussed the ways and strategies to increase the employment rate for person with psychiatric disability.
