경호 실무능력에 있어서 경호대상자의 안전을 확보하기 위해서는 사전에 무도교육을 통한 즉각적인 조치 능력이 형성되어 있어야 하며, 이를 위해 대학 경호전공자들에 대한 경호무도교육의 필요성과 중요성에 대해서는 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다. 대학교육의 중요성은 그 교육 대상의 능력과 직결된다는 점에 있으며, 이와 더불어 경호 관련학과에 있어서의 교육의 의의는 경호요원의 배출을 통한 사회 각 방면에서의 안전 활동을 지원한다는 점이다. 이러한 대학교 경호 관련학과에서의 경호무도 교육은 실질적으로 경호대상자의 안위와 직결되며, 그에 따른 국민들의 경호에 대한 신뢰와 대학교육의 위상을 높이는 데 있어서 아주 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다 해도 과언이 아니다. 따라서 이러한 대학에서의 경호무도교육이 실질적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 첫째, 경호기법과 상황에 맞게 각 무도 종목별 기술을 선택하여 종합적으로 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 위기 상황 대응 능력을 함양하기 위해서 우발상황대응 기법과 연계한 경호무도교육이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 방호․대피 우선의 실무교육이 이루어져야 한다. 넷째, 경호무도의 형과 기법을 독자적으로 개발하고, 이를 바탕으로 경호 기법과 상황에 적합한 실질적인 교육이 이루어져야 한다.
Abstract
A security personnel should have ability to cope with a critical situation to ensure client's safety, which is accomplished by Martial arts instruction and training. Likewise, it is no exaggeration to say that the Martial arts instruction and training in college related to Security and Executive protection is very important in that security personnel who are turned out through the college training will take charge of security management activity. The Martial arts education in college related to Security and Executive protection will get connected with the client's welfare, which is an important part of building confidence to the security education in college. Therefore, in order to make the Martial arts instruction and training in college related to Security and Executive protection effective, it should be achieved to ⅰ) select Martial arts techniques suitable for security techniques and circumstances, ⅱ) link the Martial arts techniques with those of accidental occurrence countermeasure, ⅲ) give priority to protecting and evacuating techniques, and ⅳ) develop the Security Martial arts way about one.
