Abstract

This paper, the initial story “The man who ate the ghost” of Bang Jung-Hwan’s Translation, which was published in the Japanese children’s journal “Akaitori”, revealed that the translation of “The man who ate god” this paper as the main text which has focused on sentence comparison, and this research has reviewed the characteristics and meanings of the translation donghwa. “The man who ate the ghost” is a work that until now was considered a “creative re-write donghwa”, this research has influence other papers. Analysis result corrects literary historical errors. The story was added in the direction of strengthening the message of enlightenment while almost embracing the development of the japanese language’s history and sentences. The translation of The Book of 1990 was written so that readers could read the old story as if they were listening to an old story through a rhythmic stylistic that seemed to listen to fairy tales, and a way to substitution unfamiliar terms into familiar terms. “The man who ate god” It is a story based on local legends in Japan, and Mizushima is said to have assimilated some motifs by using them in “Akaitori”. The “The man who ate the ghost” is a media characteristic of the Catholic institution “Telegram of Chondokyohwe”, and the message of enlightenment called “Stop superstition” is strongly revealed, but as it assimilates, satire and laughter are strengthened. In the study of children’s literature, we can emphasize the importance and necessity of research centered on practical texts, and we have confirmed that multifaceted approach to modern children’s literature in Japan is needed.
